Common Questions

Fancav is designed for any venue that hosts or wants to host sports watch parties — bars, sports bars, restaurants, breweries, taprooms, and private event spaces. If you have screens and want sports fans through the door on game day, Fancav is built for you.

Fancav fans follow specific teams and RSVP in advance — they're intentional sports fans looking for a great place to watch their team's game, not random walk-ins. Every fan has a profile and a record on the platform.

Yes — Fancav is currently live in the Phoenix, AZ metro area, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert. We're building toward expansion to additional cities. If you're outside Phoenix, contact us at contact@fancav.com to be on our early venue list for your market.

Yes — Fancav is completely free during our beta period. No credit card required, no hidden fees. When paid tiers launch after beta, founding venues will receive preferred pricing and advance notice. We'll never change pricing without giving you time to decide.

Fans need a Fancav account to RSVP to your events. Walk-in customers who aren't on Fancav can still visit your venue — Fancav RSVPs are in addition to your regular foot traffic, not a replacement for it. We encourage venues to tell their existing regulars about Fancav so they can start RSVPing.

Your events appear in the Fancav feed and map for fans who follow the relevant team, within your venue's area. The more consistently you host, the more visibility your venue builds on the platform.

Social media posts your game day content into a general feed competing with everything else. Fancav puts your events in front of fans who are actively searching for somewhere to watch their specific team's game — high intent, zero competition from unrelated content. You also get RSVP data and attendance tracking that social media can't provide.

Use the report button on the fan's profile to submit a report to Fancav's moderation team. We review all reports and take appropriate action, including account suspension for serious violations. For immediate safety concerns, always contact local authorities first.

Not yet — each venue has a single account during beta. Multi-user account management is planned for after beta.
